Terms of Service

Article 1 (Application)

These Terms of Service ("Terms") set forth the conditions for the use of Pixnote ("Service") provided by aoiroinc ("Operator"). By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Article 2 (Service Description)

The Service is a free online tool for creating, editing, and converting pixel art in a web browser. The Operator may change, add, or discontinue the Service without prior notice.

Article 3 (User Creations)

Copyright of pixel art created using the Service belongs to the user. You may freely use your creations for personal or commercial purposes. However, if your creation is based on copyrighted material by others, the original copyright holder's rights take precedence.

Article 4 (Prohibited Activities)

Users shall not engage in the following activities:

• Copying, repurposing, or redistributing the Service's source code, design, or technical mechanisms
• Using the Service's content as training data for AI or machine learning models
• Automated scraping, crawling, or data collection
• Actions that place excessive load on servers
• Actions that interfere with other users' use of the Service
• Actions that violate laws or public order

Article 5 (Intellectual Property)

All intellectual property rights related to the Service's software, design, text, images, and all other content belong to the Operator. Reproduction, modification, distribution, and reverse engineering are prohibited except as expressly permitted in these Terms.

Article 6 (AI and Machine Learning Restrictions)

The use of the Service's content (including but not limited to source code, text, images, and UI design) for the purpose of training, fine-tuning, or building datasets for AI or machine learning models is expressly prohibited. Access by automated bots, crawlers, or scrapers is prohibited unless expressly authorized by the Operator.

Article 7 (Disclaimer)

The Operator makes no warranties regarding the completeness, accuracy, reliability, or usefulness of the Service. The Operator shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use of the Service. Users are responsible for backing up their own data.

Article 8 (Changes to Terms)

The Operator may modify these Terms as necessary. Modified Terms become effective upon posting on this page.

Article 9 (Governing Law)

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising from the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over the Operator's location.
